Six Pillars of Lasting Change
In Kassala, children are still showing up to learn, despite crumbling structures, limited space, and a severe lack of educational resources. This campaign is dedicated to supporting their education today while working toward rebuilding a safe, functional school for the future.
This campaign supports a school in Kassala that continues to operate under extremely difficult conditions. With damaged structures, overcrowded classrooms, and limited supplies, students and teachers are doing their best with what they have.
Our goal is twofold:
Provide immediate educational support and resources
Work toward rebuilding and restoring the school as resources allow

About This Campaign
The classrooms in Kassala are makeshift and fragile, constructed from temporary materials, with minimal protection from heat, weather, and overcrowding. Desks are shared, learning materials are scarce, and the physical structure of the school is no longer sustainable.
Despite these challenges, children continue to attend classes every day. Teachers continue to teach. Learning continues, because education remains a lifeline.
Through this campaign, Najwa Foundation is working with local partners to:
Make a Difference
Your support helps children learn today, while laying the foundation for a stronger, safer school tomorrow.
Current campaign support includes:
Provide essential school supplies and learning materials
Support teachers with classroom resources
Improve learning conditions within existing structures
Assess and plan for school rehabilitation and rebuilding
This campaign reflects our belief that education cannot wait for perfect conditions, but children deserve better than survival-level learning environments.
Long-Term Vision: Rebuilding the School
Rebuilding the Kassala school is a long-term goal that will be pursued in phases, based on available resources and community needs.
Future objectives include:
Reconstructing safe and durable classroom structures
Expanding classroom space to reduce overcrowding
Creating a learning environment that is secure, dignified, and sustainable
Ensuring girls and vulnerable students can learn safely
This process will be community-informed, carefully planned, and implemented responsibly.
What We Are Supporting Right Now
Active classrooms serving children in Kassala

(Impact will grow as resources allow.)
